Jim Corrigan/The Spectre: I really enjoyed Corrigan’s characterization in this entire run. It doesn’t hurt that Jim Corrigan looks hella fine in this volume too.Ģ. It’s a bit more “realistic” than the first volume, but retains all the creepiness I loved before, even upping the ante a bit with more details, especially in the look of The Spectre and the monstrous creatures. Art: There’s a couple new artists in this trade, and holy hell, is the art spectacular to look at. I actually kind of liked this volume more than the last (though I know that’s not quite the popular opinion), and I wish there was more to follow, but alas! So here are my final thoughts on this run.ġ. Even though the plot of the first trade was underwhelming, I was still intrigued enough to pick up the second trade, and as with the last, there were things I really liked.
